Programs Programs and activities at The Redwoods embrace the concept of whole person wellness. They are often designed in response to resident interest and with the input of staff members from throughout The Redwoods. Activities are open to all at The Redwoods, and many programs strive to bring together people from all levels of living. Throughout the years, we have reaped the benefits of a robust population of active learners, and regularly scheduled activities at The Redwoods include concerts, films, arts, lectures and exercise classes. Residents are surveyed frequently to help create effective ongoing and special activities and programming that support and maintain the full spectrum of physical, emotional, intellectual and social wellness. The Redwoods prides itself on being an active part of the broader Mill Valley and Marin County communities. For example, local students participate in many inter-generational programs at The Redwoods, including the Senior Prom, where students from nearby Tamalpais High School dance, dine and visit with residents. The Redwoods offers ongoing classes through the College of Marin that are open to the public, and we regularly partner with Dominican University's Occupational Therapy department and UCSF's Nursing program to bring graduate level students to our campus to offer unique, research based health programs for our residents. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
