OUR HEALTH CARE CENTER

Excellent Skilled Nursing & Rehab Therapy

We aim to provide you with incomparable care in order to ensure your optimum level of health. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of possibilities and wellness by providing a variety of ways for seniors to thrive as they age.

We recognize each resident as unique, and place an emphasis on preventative care, resident education and family involvement. We work hard to provide a range of customized services that are responsive to the diverse needs of the individual and wholeheartedly encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities of our comprehensive wellness programming.

OUR CAMPUS

The Redwoods' Health Care Center is

Open to the Entire Bay Area.

Located on more than 10 beautiful acres overlooking preserved marshland

near Richardson Bay in Mill Valley, CA. We're located near the Golden Gate Bridge and not far from Muir Woods.

Our residents thrive in these beautiful, restorative surroundings. Staff and volunteers love to assist residents in getting out and about the campus to

enjoy the garden and surrounding views, or to take scenic drives, or simply visit campus destinations such as the library or central patio.

We believe in thriving at every age and stage, and that staying connected with both community and nature can be of great benefit to overall health.

MEET OUR INTERDISCIPLINARY TEAM

We aim to be a model of personalized care and innovative programming in Marin and for the entire Bay Area, and we're proud to have received 5-star CMS staffing reviews year after year.

Our team includes a Director of Nursing, Registered Nurses and Nursing Assistants, a Social Services Coordinator, Registered Dietician, Dining Director, Program Director, a Recreation Coordinator, and more.

In addition, Rehab Alliance therapists provide Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy every day of the week.

Our team is dedicated to answering your questions, managing your health needs, connecting you with resources, and ultimately building a long term relationship with you.

OUR PROGRAMS

Our Nursing and Rehabilitation Therapy Programs are individualized to meet the unique needs of each resident. We view the Health Care Center as a vibrant, active community, where families, staff, volunteers, and medical experts come together to provide a warm and caring environment.

We're new school when it comes to therapeutic methods that work, and old school when it comes to connections and relationships. We foster one-to-one connections for our residents on a daily basis.

PROGRAMS

We're fortunate to be a long-time part of the Mill Valley community

with a vibrant history of youth groups, individual performers, volunteers, and organizations sharing

their gifts and talents with our residents.

Our Transportation Program prides itself in offering a variety of Scenic Rides to those residents who may be less ambulatory, but who would benefit from getting 'out and about'.

Take a peek at some our of past destinations.

We love to learn and explore the possibilities.

Some of our newest programs include:

The development of music therapy

for Stroke recovery, and

Vigiling At Life's End (VALE); supported by The Wellness Committee and resident-driven.

IN SKILLED NURSING

Our intergenerational programs range from reading or gardening,

to guiding art activities or just hanging out. A little time makes a big difference.
